Taking Time to Breath

I took a chance to step away from teaching for the month of July and I'm getting the itch to get back to the front of the room.

I learned a few things stepping back, I love teaching and I just needed space to get my mojo back. Time to think and create and dream about where I'd like to keep moving toward. Planning for the future of all the ventures I've created or get to participate in. I also learned that I needed to practice what I preach and listen to the small still voice within and rest.

Don't get me wrong, I still worked, had zoom meetings and tried to keep up posting to social media. I just made sure I dedicated Friday and Saturday to downtime and not turning on my computer.

I also discovered that when I feel like I have a little more brain capacity beyond the day to day, I like to write. I've always felt afraid to put out words and share thoughts because of what someone might think of me or if I may sound stupid. Well, I'm a lady of a certain age and at some time I need to stop being afraid. I haven't decided if I'll continue my musings in emails from Transitions Yoga or move them over to my personal website SigridStrebe.com. I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, thank you for allowing me a chance to take a break. Transitions Yoga will have it's 7th anniversary in October and so much has happened since.

I'll see you on the mat very soon,
Sigrid
